Vandaag voor het YZCT dit lieve huisje gemaakt

Today I made this sweet little house voor the YZCT

Ik gebruikte dezelfde verf en hetzelfde papier als bij de ijsster en natuurlijk een mdf huisje

I used the same paint and papers as I did with the ice crystal and of course a little mdf house

Ik beschilderde het huisje, 1x voor het in elkaar zetten, anders past het niet meer, en nog 2x daarna, goed laten drogen en daarna beplakken met het muziekpapier

I painted the house, once before assembling, otherwise it doesn't fit anymore, and twice afterwards, let it dry properly and than stick on the music sheet

Nu kan het decoreren beginnen! Eerst het kant,

ook op het dakje,

Also on the roof,

en daarna kunnen er allemaal leuke en lieve spulletjes in! Het huisje, het papier, het kant, de bedeltjes en knoopjes komen bij Your Zoap vandaan, het nostalgische plaatje knipte ik uit de Rosa Dotje special. Het overige is privé bezit.

and than you can fill it with lots of little treasures! The mdf house, the music sheets, lace, charms and buttons are from Your Zoap, the vintage picture I cut out the Rosa Dotje special. The rest is from my own collection.

Toen het huisje af was, ben ik alvast begonnen met het volgende projektje, ik stanste een aantal ijssterren uit vilt, wat het gaat worden zien jullie volgende keer wel weer!

After finishing the house, I startd with the next project. I punched out a few ice crystals from felt, what it will be you'll see next time!

Ik kwam bij Busy Bessy allemaal blokken tegen om een meebreideken van te maken, dus bij de Zeeman een mooie kleur rose wol gehaald van 1 euro per bol en ben begonnen met het eerst blok.

I saw all kinds of patterns at Busy Bessy to knit a "knit-along-blanket", so I bought yarn in a lovely pink shade, 1 euro a ball and started the first block.

En deel 3 van de broddellap/breirol is ook af!

And part 3 of the knitting roll is finished too!

Makkelijk om te breien met een heel leuk resultaat!

Winter Crafts

Nu alle kerstspulletjes het huis uit zijn, werd het tijd voor het winterhuis

All the Christmas decorations are gone, time to make my winterhome

Voor het Your Zoap Creative Team bezig geweest, heb de schaatsjes en een paar harten met ijskristallen gemaakt

I've been busy for the Your Zoap Creative Team, made skates and a few hearts with ice crystals

Voor dit hart heb je nodig:

For this heart you need:

Hart van mdf, muziekpapier, witte acrylverf

Mdf heart, music sheet, white acrylic paint

wit cardstock, stukje stof, knoopjes en een stukje fiberfill

white cardstock, piece of fabric, buttons and a scrap of padding

Je tekent het hart na op het muziekpapier en knipt het daarna uit met een pincetschaartje, werkt perfect voor het fijne werk

Draw the heart onto the music sheet and cut it with a tweezers scissor, it's perfect for this kind of fussy cutting

Vervolgens verf je de randen wit, plak het papier op het mdf hart, naai het knoopje op het midden van de stof met de fiberfill erachter, zodat het er een beetje in trekt, je tekent het hart na op wit cardstock, daarop plak je op de goede plaats het stukje stof en als laatste lijm je het mdf hart op de ondergrond.

Further on paint the edges white, stick the paper onto the heart, sew the button in the middle of the fabric with the piece of padding behind it, draw the heart on white cardstock, on that you glue the fabric with button on the right spot and last but not least you glue the mdf heart onto the cardstock one.

Kantje of lintje erdoor om op te hangen...

... en klaar is je eenvoudige maar heel decoratieve winterhart!

Ook maakte ik deze schaatsjes, hiervoor heb je nodig:

I also made these skates, for them you need:

Mdf schaatsjes, witte en grijze acrylverf, stukje stof, kant, parelketting, stukje wit lint, crop-a-dile, schuurpapier

Mdf skates, white and grey acrylic paint, piece of fabric, lace, pearl chain, piece of white ribbon, crop-a-dile, sanding paper

Eerst schilderde ik de laarsjes een aantal keer wit, daarna de ijzertjes grijs. Eerst haalde ik een stukje grijs/wit divine twine door de ophanggaatjes en daarna plakte ik aan de bovenkant geplooid een stukje stof, daaroverheen een stukje geplooid kant. Om het mooi af te werken lijmde ik er een randje parelketting op

First of all I painted the boots of the skates white, several times, then the "iron" parts grey. Before glueing the folded fabric onto the skates I pulled a piece of twine through the holes so I'm able hang them up. On top of the fabric I glued folded lace and finished it with a piece of pearl chain.

De ijzertjes schuurde ik een beetje door en als laatste knipte ik er met de crop-a-dile gaatjes voor de lintjes in.

The "iron" part I sanded a little and finally I punched holes in it with the crop-a-dile to pull the ribbon through.

Laat nu de winter maar komen! Met de temperaturen van vandaag gaat dat vastlukken! Haal de ijzers alvast maar uit het vet!

News, News, News!!!

Eindelijk, hier is het dan: het "geheime" projekt waar ik voor de zomer zo druk mee was! Het prachtige en zeer inspirerende magazine van Rosa Dotje! Voor degenen die er nog niet bekend mee zijn: Rosa Dotje is de eigen lijn van Gepke, eigenaresse van webwinkel Your Zoap. Er zijn diverse lijnen, van romantisch tot vrolijk en stoer, allemaal heel verschillend maar wel in dezelfde landelijke stijl. Ik mocht de stoere Marine uit Holland serie gebruiken:

Finally here it is: the "secret" project I was working on before the Summer! It's the very beautiful and inspiring Rosa Dotje magazine ! For the ones who aren't familiar with it yet: Rosa Dotje is the paperline the owner Gepke of Your Zoap has designed herself. She designed different lines, from romantic to bright or tough but in the same country style. I had the honour to use the Navy from Holland line:

En allerlei atributen voor een stoer jongensfeestje, zoals deze slinger. Ik heb dit allemaal ook in het rood gemaakt zodat het ook voor een echt meidenfeest geschikt is. Nieuwsgierig geworden naar alle projekten, ook van Gepke zelf, haar dochter Mandy, Jeanet en Anneke? Het magazine is te bestellen bij Your Zoap!
Echt, het is zóóó leuk!!!

And different designs for a tough birthday party for boys, like this garland. I also made everything in red so it's suitable for a girls party too. Curious to all the projects, also from Gepke herself, her daughter Mandy, Jeanet and Anneke? The magazine is to order at Your Zoap! It's really darn pretty!

Verder wil ik jullie hier nog m'n laatste creatie laten zien, sommigen van jullie zullen dit huisje al op m'n andere blog gezien hebben. Dit chipboard huisje had ik al heel lang in huis, ooit eens gemaakt als een voorbeeld voor een beurs, maar het papier dat ik daarvoor moest gebuiken was niet helemaal mijn smaak, dit schitterende Pion papier wel! Het is een adressenbakje geworden en staat dan ook naast de telefoon.

Further on I want to show you my latest creation, some of you might have seen it on my other blog. I had this chipboard house for a long time already, made it once as an example for a craft fair, but the papers I had to use then were not exactly my cup cup of tea, these gorgeous Pion papers are! It has become an address box and it's next the telephone obviously.

Gebruikte materialen: dessin papier Pion Design / chipboard huisje Maya Road (?) / kant / knoopjes 2 maten / witte acrylverf / adressenvulling (Hema)
Alles, behalve het huisje en de vulling, komt bij Your Zoap vandaan, maar zij verkoopt wel hele leuke alternatieven voor dit huisje.

Your Zoap Design Team Work

Deze l.o. maakte ik al hééél lang geleden, na een hele lange tijd van afwezigheid in scrapland, het was dus echt weer een nieuw begin voor me. Ik had 'em jullie nog niet eerder laten zien. Ik maakte deze met de geweldige lijn van Rosa Dotje als design team lid van Your Zoap.
En over Your Zoap gesproken:

This l.o. I made a lóóóng time ago, but I've never showed you before. I made this one with the gorgeous line from Rosa Dotje as a design team member of Your Zoap.

And talking of Your Zoap:

Ik kocht al deze overheerlijke spulletjes op de brocante fair afgelopen zondag, gehouden in mijn zusjes bloemenwinkel, waar Your Zoap ook een kraampje had. Genoeg kerstornamentjes om te beschilderen en decoreren. Ik heb al besloten ze vrij simpel te houden, hahaha, ik wil ze wel af hebben voor de 25e!

I bought all these lovely goodies at the brocante fair last Sunday, held at my sisters flowershop, Your Zoap had a little booth there too. Lots of christmas ornaments to paint and decorate. I've already decided to keep it simple, hahaha, cause I want to have it finished before the 25th!

Ik ben gewoon helemaal verliefd op het rood/witte Divine Twine, en om niet meer mis te grijpen kocht ik een hele klos.

I'm in love with the red/white Divine Twine so I bought a whole spool this time.

Bj m'n zusjes winkel Bloembinderij Ma-d'r-Liefjes kocht ik deze kaarten met kant (je ziet ze achterin staan), die zijn zóóó prachtig!

At my sisters shop I bought the lace cards (you can see them at the back), they are sóóó beautiful!

En ook deze nog en de kaart met garen. Ik heb alles binnen handbereik staan in m'n kleine ateliertje.

And this one too, and the thread card. I've everything in an arm's reach in my little crafty space.

Hier heb ik de afgelopen tijd aan gewerkt, hier zijn ze nog niet af. Ik maakte 4 huisjes met de geweldige nieuwe kerstlijn van Rosa Dotje. Ze zijn inmiddels af, maar ik ben er vergeten foto's van te nemen, suf hè! Nu staan ze als kerstdorpje in Gepke's huis. En voor het geval het jullie nog niet opgevallen was: de mdf schaatsjes en hobbelpaardjes (op de 2e foto) zijn hetzelfde als die op het papier! Dus super om te combineren! Verder komen alle kantjes, bandjes, knoopjes, pareltjes en huisjes ook bij Your Zoap vandaan.

Nou, dan ga ik nu maar eens de sintkadootjes inpakken en wat korte, maar snedige rijmen in elkaar flansen!

This is what I've been working at. I made four cute little houses with the gorgeous new Christmas line from Rosa Dotje. They're finished in the meantime but I forgot to take pics of them, oh foolish me. Now they are in Gepke's home as a little Christmas village. And in case you didn't notice: the mdf skates and rocking horses (on the second pic) are similar to the ones on the paper! So great to combine!

Well girls, time to wrap the Saint Nicholas presents and make some short but sharp-minded rhymes!

Box Full Of Fall Treats And A New Workshop

Deze verrukkelijke papierlijn van Eline's Winterhuis is zóóó inspirerend! Kan het wel blijven gebruiken! Ik had nog wat paddestoeltjespapier over dus gebruikte ik het voor deze theedoos die ik veranderde in een leuke traktatiedoos.

This gorgeous paperline of Eline's Winterhuis is sóóó inspiring! I still had some mushroom paper left so I used it for this tea box wich I turned into a cute treat box.

Ik borduurde de titel (uit het vorige Eline's Huisboek), gebruikte de stempel van het superschattige hertje en naast kant en lint gebruikte ik deze onwijs lieve kleine paddestoeltjes die ik bij Atelier Soed Idee had besteld. Neem daar maar eens een kijkje. Ze verkoopt ook prachtige borduurpatronenen (waarvan ik er dus ook eentje besteld had, die krijgen jullie volgende keer te zien) en op dit moment heeft ze een give away op haar blog!

I embroidered the title, cut the leaves freehanded, used the stamp of the very cute little deer and besides the lace and ribbon I decorated the top with these very tiny and sweet mushrooms, I ordered at Atelier Soed Idee, also with a beautiful embroidery pattern (wich I'll show you next time)

En ik vulde de doos met overheerlijke herfstlekkernijen, zo zal ik het presenteren aan m'n moeder en haar zussen die komende vrijdag een workshop bij me komen volgen. Ze hebben hun jaarlijkse "zussen-dag" en mijn moeder moest het dit jaar organiseren. Ze vroeg me of ik een workshop wilde geven, nou dat leek me natuurlijk geweldig! Ik kijk er al naar uit!Ik denk wel dat ik m'n oordopjes maar te voorschijn haal, want mensen kinderen wat kan dat stel lachen, gieren brullen!

And I filled the box with yummie fall treats, this is how I'll present it to my mother and her sisters who will follow my class this Friday afternoon. They have their annual "sisters-day-out" and my mother had to organize it this year. She asked me to prepare a workshop and I loved doing that! I'm looking forward to it! I think I'll need my ear plugs, these girls are so noisy! They laugh and giggle all day long!

Oké, nog eventjes van dichterbij, maar laten jullie nog wel wat over voor vrijdag alsjeblieft, eet niet alles op!

Okay, just a little closer, but leave something for Friday please, don't eat them all!



Workshop October

Dit is de workshop die gepland staat op vrijdag 28 oktober en voor komende vrijdag. Het lieve stel op de foto zijn de ouders van m'n moeder, dus ik denk dat dit een enorme verrassing zal zijn voor haar en haar zussen! De wallhanger is gemaakt met de waanzinnig mooie nieuwe lijn van Eline's Winterhuis, ik ben er gewoon verliefd op!

This will be the workshop for Friday 28th October and for coming Friday. The lovely couple are my mothers parents, so I think this will be a great surprise for her and her sisters! The wallhanger is made with the gorgeous new line of Eline's Winterhuis, I'm in love with it!

Vol met mooie details, dit rozenlint is echt één van m'n favorieten!

Ik gebruikte ook de fineer embellishments die ik schilderde en distressde met inkt.

E.P.F.G And Some Stitchery

E.P.F.G. = Easy Peasy Fall Garland

Voor het Your Zoap Creative Team maakte ik deze super simpele herfst slinger van het onwijs gave papier van Eline's Winterhuis

For the Your Zoap Creative Team I made this easy peasy Fall garland with the gorgeous new line from Eline's Winterhuis

Ik tekende een malletje van een paddenstoeltje

I drew a mold of a little mushroom

Nam deze 8x over op karton (zat als versteviging in het papierpakket)

Copied this 8x on cardstock (was in the packaging)

Tekende daarna de hoedjes over op het paddestoeltjespapier en de voetjes op het gebreidde motiefje

Then I drew the hats on the mushroom paper and the stem on the knitted motive

Plakken, beetje bijknippen, gaatjes er in gemaakt met de Crop-a-Dile en voilá: klaar is je herfstslinger! Ook erg leuk om in de herfstvakantie samen met je kinderen te maken

Glueing, trimming a little, making little holes in it with the Crop-a-Dile and voilá: your garland is ready! Also a fun project to do with your kids during fall break


Fall Stitchery

En je kunt het bijna niet geloven (althans ik geloof het amper!), maar m'n herfst stitchery van Atelier Bep hangt! Het lijkt nu een heus quiltje, maar dat is het natuurlijk niet! Zoals jullie weten ben ik nogal van de gemakkelijke en heb dus gewoon lapje op je lapje genaaid, achterkantje er tegen aan, 1 kant open gelaten, stukje fiberfill ertussen gedaan en de zoom met de hand dichtgenaaid.

It's hard to believe (well, I could hardly believe it myself!), but my Fall stitchery from Atelier Bep is finished! It looks like a real quilt but of course it isn't! As you know I'm a lazy girl so I sewed fabric on fabric, kept one side open to put the padding through and then sewed the seam by hand.

Paar knoopjes voor decoratie én om de vulling goed op z'n plaats te houden.

A few buttons for decoration ànd to keep the padding on place.

Jaja... en nog een stitchery af! Hier heb ik me er makkelijk vanaf gemaakt: gewoon in een mooie oude lijst gedaan! De afbeelding komt ergens van internet (weet alleen niet meer waar!)

Yep... another stitchery finished! I shirked the difficulty here: just put it in a lovely old frame! (The pattern is some where from the internet but I don't from who anymore!)
