Fall Decorations

Ik ben inmiddels heerlijk met allerlei herfstprojektjes bezig

I'm happy creating all kinds of Fall projekts at the moment

Deze spulletjes ontving ik van Your Zoap, helemaal geweldig...zucht...!!! De prachtige nieuwe lijn van Eline's Winterhuis

These crafty things I received from Your Zoap, sóóó cute...sigh...!!! The gorgeous new line from Eline's Winter Home

Ik ben begonnen met hangertjes te maken uit het stofpaneel. Ik knipte de figuurtjes die ik wilde gebruiken ruim uit, streek ze op vliesofix en knipte ze nogmaals uit

I made little hangers from the fabric. I cut out the little figures loose, ironed them onto vliesofix and cut them out again

Daarna streek ik ze op vilt en knipte dit met ongeveer een halve cm naad rondom uit

Then I ironed them on felt, cut them out with a ca 0,5 cm seam

Daarna festonneerde ik de figuurtjes op het vilt, gewoon voor het decoratieve effect

Next I buttonhole stitched the figures on the felt, just for decoration

Knipte er nog een achterkantje bij

Cut out a back from felt

En festonneerde ook dit aan elkaar. Lintje ertusen en wat fiberfill...

And I buttonhole stitched this together too. Ribbon in between and a little padding...

... en klaar is m'n herfstboom! (Nou ja, klinkt sneller dan het is hoor, hahaha! Ik heb heel wat uurtjes zitten naaien, maar het is zo'n heerlijk relaxed werkje!)

... and my Fall tree is ready! (Well, that sounds easier than it is, hahaha! I've sewed lots of hours, but it's sóóo relaxing!)

Verder kreeg ik ook nog prachtige stofjes binnen van GelreBloem en Atelier Bep

Further on I received gorgeous fabrics from Gelrebloem and Atelier Bep

En een paar naai- en stitchery patroontjes.
Zoals jullie al hebben kunnen zien heb ik de herfststitchery af, nu nog op de stof naaien... ben echt heel slecht in het afmaken! Maar hé, genoeg leuke stofjes in huis, dusse... geen excuses meer dame!

And some sew- and stitchery patterns. As you already know I've finished the Fall stitchery, but now I've to sew it onto fabric... I'm a worse finisher! But hey, enough cute fabrics in da house, so no more excuses lady!

Challenge For You# 1

En nu heb ik het, weliswaar op de valreep, toch gedaan!

And I did it, in the nick of time ideed, but I did it!

M'n deelname aan wat volgens mij het allerleukste challenge blog allertijden wordt is een feit

Nou was de 1e opdracht een kaart...

Well, the first challenge was a card...

Hmmm.. ik en kaarten, da's niet zo'n goede combi, tel erbij op dat al m'n scrapspullen in de workshop ruimte van m'n zusje liggen, dan kun je wel nagaan dat ik even heel diep na moest denken

Oh my, me and cards that's not such a great combination, further all my scrapstuff is stocked in my sister's workshop space, so I had to think really deep about this one

Maar ik heb wel al m'n stofjes hier, en genoeg kantjes, dus... m'n stoffenkaartje was geboren!

But I've all my fabrics in da house, and enough ribbon and lace, so... my fabric card was born!

En met een lintje erdoor is het ook nog eens een schattige wall hanger!

And tied with a piece of lace it's a cute wall hanger above all!

I hope you like it! Hardly can't wait what the next challenge will be!
