A Girl's Birthday Party

Gisteren hing ik de pompoms op

Yesterday I hung up the pompoms

Melk witte en Zoete roze, besteld bij Een Nieuw Avontuur

Milk white and Sweet pink ones, ordered at Een Nieuw Avontuur

De tafel vrolijk gedekt

The table was looking cheerful

Met allemaal lekkere snoeperijtjes en een kan vol limonade

With all kinds of yummie treats and a jug filled with lemonade

De pakketjes lagen klaar, vrolijke papiertjes en een zakje vol spulletjes

The kits were ready, bright papers and a little bag full of embellies

En daar kwam de jarige job samen met haar vriendinnetjes, haar moeder en haar oma

And there was the birthday girl together with her friends, her mother and her grandma

Ze werkten hard, kletsten gezellig, aten de snoepjes en aan het eind van de middag gingen ze naar huis met een prachtig boekje vol foto's, met dank aan oma en moeders voor de goed hulp!

They worked hard, talked and chated, ate the candies and at the end of the afternoon they went home with a beautiful little album full with pictures, thanks to the great help of birthday girl's grandma and mother!

Het was een superleuke middag met gezellige, creatieve en enthousiaste meiden! De tijd vloog om!

Oh enne... kleine p.s.: het is niet mijn dochter hoor, die jarig was! Het was een workshop voor een jarige!

It was a great afternoon with fun, creative and enthousiastic girls! Time flew by very fast!

Morgen hopelijk weer een gezellige en creatieve dag, maar dan op de handwerkbeurs in Zwolle, ik heb er zin in!!! Misschien kom ik jullie wel tegen!

Tomorrow, I hope, another fun and creative day in Zwolle at the craft fair, I'm looking forward to it!!! Maybe I'll meet you there!

CFY #16: Waking Up

Mijn uitwerking van challenge #16! Een l.o. over het ochtend ritueel van m'n dochtertje. Bo vindt het heerlijk om lekker rustig wakker te worden. Even knuffelen met de hondjes is het eerste wat ze doet 's morgens.

My result of challenge #16! A l.o. about the morning ritual of my little girl. Bo loves to wake up slowly. A little cuddling with the dogs is the first thing she does.

Dit is de sketch. Ik ben keurig begonnen maar ergens ben ik afgedwaald, maar wel duidelijk geïnspireerd toch???

This is the sketch. I started right but somewere I stryed off, but I'm obviously inspired anyway!

CFY #12: My Girl

En dit is alweer challenge nummer 12 bij CFY! Zoals jullie kunnen zien heb ik de sketch vrij ruim genomen. Eerst in spiegelbeeld en daarna lekker los met al die leuke embellies van Emma's Shoppe van Crate Paper. Helaas heef Blogger weer kuren en kon ik niet alle foto's uploaden (waaronder die van de sketch), hopelijk lukt later nog! Ik word trouwens ook gek van al die enorme ruimtes tussen de foto's en de tekst...grrr... krijg het maar niet goed! Iemand een tip???

Volgende week alweer m'n laatste x als gastdesigner bij CFY, het is echt voorbij gevlogen! Ik hoop dat jullie alle voorbeelden weer leuk en vol inspiratie vinden en dat jullie natuurlijk allemaal weer een poging wagen!

2 Your Zoap Design Team opdrachten. Ik wilde graag laten zien dat het heel goed mogelijk is om met a4 formaat een 30x30 l.o. te maken.

Sugar and Spice, dat is helemaal mijn meisje! Soms heel erg lief, maar soms ook een beetje kattig, nou ja... gewoon een echte meid! Owww... ik vind deze foto gewoon zo schattig!

En hier is dat verduveld schattige hondje weer! Hij is toch een echt fotomodel!

Het was echt heerlijk om met deze lieve papiertjes te werken, en, ook niet geheel onbelangrijk, het is een vrij goedkope manier van scrappen. De verzendkosten zijn voor a4 formaat aanzienlijk goedkoper dan voor het 30x30 formaat. En ik heb nog genoeg over om nog een paar l.o.'s te maken! (Tja, ik ben tenslotte Hollander, en Hollanders zijn nou eenmaal gek op koopjes!)

It was really fun to work with these adorable papers, and, not insignificant, it's a cheap way to scrap. The delivery cost are for a4 size much cheaper than the bigger 30x30. And I've lots of papers left, so I can make a few other l.o.'s yet! (Well, after all I'm Dutch and Dutchies love a good bargain!)

Happy Day

Naar aanleiding van een inspiratie l.o. op de Dutch Freestylegroep deze l.o. gemaakt.

Bo zit hier aandachtig op een boomstronkje de plattegrond van het sprookjeslabyrinth te bekijken. Dit maisdoolhof ligt in Barveaux, België en de kinderen hebben er stuk voor stuk van genoten!

En wat past er nou beter bij zo'n sprookjesachtig onderwerp dan het fantastische papier van Cosmo Cricket "Pixie Licious"????

Muffin Girl

Wat zat Bo (toen nog een kleine ukkepuk) heerlijk te smikkelen van het lopend buffet op het vakantiepark, vooral de muffins en de cake-jes vielen goed in de smaak!
Bij deze l.o. past het papier van My Little Shoebox "Just add butter" perfect!
Onder de halve circel laagjes kant en lint
Bo was tucked into the lovely muffins and cakes during the walking buffet, held at the restaurant on our holidayparc (don't know if this is the right translation!)!
The lovely pp from My Little Shoebox "Just add butter" matches this l.o. perfectly!
