Craft Fair Zwolle And Some More

Na een treinreis van 2,5 uur afgelopen vrijdag, kwamen we (we dat zijn m'n zusje Antoinette, m'n tante Corrie en ik en daar hadden we ook nog afgesproken met m'n lieve vriendin Cindy)eindelijk aan bij de handwerkstershemel: de Handwerkbeurs in Zwolle. Lopen zuchten en zwijmelen bij:

After a 2,5 hours train trip last Friday we (we are my sis Antoinette, my aunt Corrie and myself and there we would meet my dear friend Cindy too) arrived at the crafters heaven: the Craft Fair at Zwolle. Sighing and swooning at:

Atelier Bep (hai schoonzus! Nee niet de mijne, maar die van Bep!)

´t Gaerenhuys, maar natuurlijk bij nog véél meer!

But of course at lots of other boots too!

En ik kocht (ik zei toch al dat ik los zou gaan!): 2 prachtige boeken, borduurlinnen, 2 patroontjes en een kleine stitchery

And I bought ( I told you so I would buy right and left!): 2 beautiful books, embroidery linen, 2 patterns and a little stitchery

Zulke schattige stofjes, de onderste zijn nog echte oudjes

Sóóó very cute fabrics, the ones at the bottom are really old ones

Een lief ouderwets poppenhemdje om te breien met een bolletje zacht katoen

A sweet vintage dolls shirt to knit together with soft cotton yarn

En ik was zóóó blij dat "mijn" kant-mannetje er weer stond, zoveel kant bij elkaar maakt me gewoon helemaal gelukkig (tja ieder z´n tik!)

And I was sóóó happy "my" lace-guy was there again, so much lace together makes me just totally happy ( well, everybody has his quirk!)

En maakte deze 3 lapjes van de meebreideken van Busy Bessy

And I made these 3 pieces of the "knit-along" blanket of Busy Bessy

Deze week is weer omgevlogen, drukte met Valentijnsdag op m´n werk, workshop geven en nieuwe uitwerken en natuurlijk het heerlijke dagje uit. Ik hoop weer gauw bij jullie langs te komen!

This week has just flewn by, it was busy at work in connection with Valentines Day, I had a workshop to teach and new ones to prepare and of course the lovely day out. I hope to visit you soon!

A Girl's Birthday Party

Gisteren hing ik de pompoms op

Yesterday I hung up the pompoms

Melk witte en Zoete roze, besteld bij Een Nieuw Avontuur

Milk white and Sweet pink ones, ordered at Een Nieuw Avontuur

De tafel vrolijk gedekt

The table was looking cheerful

Met allemaal lekkere snoeperijtjes en een kan vol limonade

With all kinds of yummie treats and a jug filled with lemonade

De pakketjes lagen klaar, vrolijke papiertjes en een zakje vol spulletjes

The kits were ready, bright papers and a little bag full of embellies

En daar kwam de jarige job samen met haar vriendinnetjes, haar moeder en haar oma

And there was the birthday girl together with her friends, her mother and her grandma

Ze werkten hard, kletsten gezellig, aten de snoepjes en aan het eind van de middag gingen ze naar huis met een prachtig boekje vol foto's, met dank aan oma en moeders voor de goed hulp!

They worked hard, talked and chated, ate the candies and at the end of the afternoon they went home with a beautiful little album full with pictures, thanks to the great help of birthday girl's grandma and mother!

Het was een superleuke middag met gezellige, creatieve en enthousiaste meiden! De tijd vloog om!

Oh enne... kleine p.s.: het is niet mijn dochter hoor, die jarig was! Het was een workshop voor een jarige!

It was a great afternoon with fun, creative and enthousiastic girls! Time flew by very fast!

Morgen hopelijk weer een gezellige en creatieve dag, maar dan op de handwerkbeurs in Zwolle, ik heb er zin in!!! Misschien kom ik jullie wel tegen!

Tomorrow, I hope, another fun and creative day in Zwolle at the craft fair, I'm looking forward to it!!! Maybe I'll meet you there!

Valentine's Banner And More Knitting

Volgende week is het alweer Valentijns dag! De liefde hangt in de lucht!
Voor Pion Design maakte ik deze "love"-banner, dat papier is trouwens ook om verliefd op te worden!

Next week it will be Valentine's Day! Love is in the air!
I made this "love"-banner for Pion Design, I'm totally in love with these papers!

Ik gebruikte 4 mdf hartjes (dat eigenlijk een albumpje vormt) en beplakte ze met het rood geruite papier

I used 4 mdf hearts ( it's actually a mini album) and sticked the red checked papers on them

Met de Big Shot stanste ik de hartjes, van een sierrand, die met de roosjes, maakte ik een soort van wimpel met daaronder een stukje gerimpeld kant en parelketting

I used the Big shot to punch the hearts, and from a trim of the die cut paper, the one with the roses, I made a kind of pennant, among it a piece of ruffled lace and pearl chain

Ik gebruikte m'n schaartje en distress inkt om de hartjes een beetje een shabby look te geven, knipte de vlinders uit het die cut vel en plakte een houten knoopje onderaan, de letters maakte ik met de Slice

I used my little scissor and distress ink to give the hearts a shabby look, cut out the butterflies from the die cut sheet and added a wooden button, made the letters with my Slice

Onder de harten plakte ik een hart van creme vilt, dat ik wat ruimer uitknipte met de golfjes schaar, als laatste knipte ik gaatjes in de harten en hing ze op met een stukje smal kant

At the back of the hearts I glued a heart of cream felt which I cut out first with a scalloped scissor, last but not least I punched 2 holes in each heart to hang them up with a small piece of lace

Klaar voor mijn geliefde, hahaha!

Ready for my love, hahaha!

En een kleine brei-up date, ben nu met het 5e blok bezig en owww... wat is het weer heerlijk om 's avonds een paar toertjes te breien!

And a little knitting up date, I'm on the 5th block now and oh my... it's good to knit again!

Little House And Knitting Patterns

Vandaag voor het YZCT dit lieve huisje gemaakt

Today I made this sweet little house voor the YZCT

Ik gebruikte dezelfde verf en hetzelfde papier als bij de ijsster en natuurlijk een mdf huisje

I used the same paint and papers as I did with the ice crystal and of course a little mdf house

Ik beschilderde het huisje, 1x voor het in elkaar zetten, anders past het niet meer, en nog 2x daarna, goed laten drogen en daarna beplakken met het muziekpapier

I painted the house, once before assembling, otherwise it doesn't fit anymore, and twice afterwards, let it dry properly and than stick on the music sheet

Nu kan het decoreren beginnen! Eerst het kant,

ook op het dakje,

Also on the roof,

en daarna kunnen er allemaal leuke en lieve spulletjes in! Het huisje, het papier, het kant, de bedeltjes en knoopjes komen bij Your Zoap vandaan, het nostalgische plaatje knipte ik uit de Rosa Dotje special. Het overige is privé bezit.

and than you can fill it with lots of little treasures! The mdf house, the music sheets, lace, charms and buttons are from Your Zoap, the vintage picture I cut out the Rosa Dotje special. The rest is from my own collection.

Toen het huisje af was, ben ik alvast begonnen met het volgende projektje, ik stanste een aantal ijssterren uit vilt, wat het gaat worden zien jullie volgende keer wel weer!

After finishing the house, I startd with the next project. I punched out a few ice crystals from felt, what it will be you'll see next time!

Ik kwam bij Busy Bessy allemaal blokken tegen om een meebreideken van te maken, dus bij de Zeeman een mooie kleur rose wol gehaald van 1 euro per bol en ben begonnen met het eerst blok.

I saw all kinds of patterns at Busy Bessy to knit a "knit-along-blanket", so I bought yarn in a lovely pink shade, 1 euro a ball and started the first block.

En deel 3 van de broddellap/breirol is ook af!

And part 3 of the knitting roll is finished too!

Makkelijk om te breien met een heel leuk resultaat!

Easy to knit, wonderful result!
